ADVANCED DESIGN,
TRADITIONAL QUALITY!

About County

Resisting the trend toward cheaper production methods using synthetic panels and synthetic trees, saddles made by County Saddlery continue to be painstakingly handmade on our laminated beechwood trees, covered in the worlds finest leather, and flocked with pure wool to maximize your horses' comfort and fit. As one of the few saddlery companies in the world which actually make their own trees, County sets the industry standard in design and innovation.

Our traditional methods take longer and require a higher degree of craftsmanship, but once you sit in a County saddle, we know you will agree that the results are clearly worth it. Although we custom make saddles for many of the worlds leading riders, our commitment to quality and detail is reflected in every saddle we make, including the one we will make for you.

The Person Behind The Saddle Design

Beckie Green

West Australian County Agent & MSA Saddle Fitter

I have been involved in the equine industry for over 30yrs from when I first began riding at the age of 6. It was inevitable I would inherit my mothers passion for horses, watching her train and educate thoroughbreds and then moving on to breeding and training quarter horses. I followed suit and grew up attending Serpentine Horse & Pony Club where I became hooked on the adrenalin rush of cross country. I then went on to re-train my own OTTB’s and competed in eventing before meeting my husband Michael and took some time away from horses to travel. The love and passion of horses soon got the better of me and we made the decision to return home to WA in 2010 where I could pursue my dreams of competing and helping horses.

After settling on our own acreage in North Dandalup in 2013, I continued to own and compete my horses, but have since taken a break from riding whilst raising our two children, both of whom show a very keen interest in all things 4 legged and hairy.I am an Accredited International MSA Saddle fitter and County Saddlery Specialist and have worked as a Qualified Saddle fitter for the past 4 yrs.

I first met Mel Waller in 2016 when the opportunity arose to join the County Saddlery team and travel to America to train with the best in the industry as a Master Saddlers Association Saddle Fitter. Having studied Equine Anatomy & Biomechanics as well as Equine Bowen Therapy, my wide range of practical experience that has developed over the years from personal riding and training with other equine professionals gives me a unique perspective into the fitting needs and biomechanics of horse and rider. I offer my clients unparalleled experience and knowledge from the Beginner / pleasure rider through to International level competitors and trainers, ensuring they have a rewarding experience with their horse. I strongly believe that it is our responsibility to educate and share our knowledge with the equestrian community on the impact an ill-fitting saddle has on a horse's comfort, performance and safety. I believe this is an area that is often overlooked by many riders and have therefore made it my goal to educate and share my knowledge. If they allow us to ride them, it is up to us to make it the best experience possible, for the welfare, comfort and success of both horse and rider.
